Whiplash's bones must be bonded with adamantium like Wolverine's. That is the only possible explanation as to why the man isn't confined to a wheelchair for a majority of Iron Man 2. While attacking Tony at the Monaco race track, Whiplash is hit by Happy Hogan's car and pinned to the metal barrier encircling the track. This stuns the villain only momentarily so Happy rams him again. And again. And again. That's four times Whiplash's legs are crushed against the unforgiving steel and what effect does it have on him? None. No shattered pelvis. No broken legs. And no death. The car has absolutely no effect, as seen moments later when Tony kicks the car away and they resume their fight as if nothing happened. Screw the whips. Whiplash should have given Tony a few adamantium kicks instead.
