So you're dressed up and ready to hit the town with your friends.... If you're driving, you'll most likely roam around for a while until you find a suitable parking space, or if in cab you'll get off a short walk away from the nightclub. When you've arrived at your destination there's usually a long queue outside the door. Everyone pretty much makes the most of the body warmth strangers provide, while either trying to edge through or stopping others from doing so. Finally, at the door I.D. check is done and you enter by joining another queue for the cloakroom. So basically, it could take approximately 1.5 hours to get from the entrance of the club into the dance-floor itself... However... If you live in the cinematic universe, even if there is a long queue outside of the nightclub, you will ALWAYS manage to park right outside the entrance, speak to the bouncers convincingly, and waltz past the long queue representing 'our' pathetic selves with ease in the space of 5 minutes!!
