Okay, let's get this one out of the way early. I know, I know, surely there can't be anybody left on earth who doesn't know about Donald Glover's musician alias Childish Gambino, but just in case there is, well...now you know. Donald Glover is also a popular musician who performs under the name Childish Gambino.

Though it's only been in the last year or two that Gambino has achieved mainstream commercial success with songs like 3005 and Sweatpants from the 2013 album Because The Internet, Glover has been making music as Gambino since as early as 2008, when he put out his first mixtape Sick Boi. Four more mixtape followed, before he finally put out his first studio album in 2011 titled Camp.

Now, Gambino is set to release his third record in December 2016, a massive departure from his typical rap style. The two singles released off of "Awaken, My Love!" are much closer to funk and soul music, and feature no rapping at all.
