1. A New Book Reveals His Ultimate Fate

Just when you thought the new Star Wars canon was done with Jar Jar, Chuck Wendig's new novel Aftermath: Empire's End decided to close out the character's story by revealing his post-Return of the Jedi fate.

In the novel, Jar Jar is now a street entertainer who is loved by children but loathed by adults, who revile him for his part in helping the Empire rise to power.

While Jar Jar remains alive, at least he's condemned to a fairly miserable fate, and one that hilariously reflects the fan response, young and old, to the character.
