2. James Wan Has A Cameo In Insidious: Chapter 3

James Wan was responsible for directing both Insidious and Insidious: Chapter 2, and those films were all the better for it. However, due to his film commitments to directing Fast & Furious 7 he was unable to return to the directors chair for the third entry. This resulted in franchise writer, and close friend, Leigh Whannell taking over directorial duties for Insidious: Chapter 3 (And he did a great job).

But if you've watched behind the scenes features on any film James Wan has helped produce, you'll notice he has a habit of getting himself on the film sets he isn't directing. If you're quick enough, you'll spot Wan with a cameo in the third film playing a theatre director auditioning the films main character Quinn Brenner.
