10. He€™s Hawaiian (With A Dash Of German, Irish, And Native American)

Momoa's chiseled jaw, athleticism, and natural tan can be pin-pointed down to good genes and his Hawaiian background. An only child, Momoa was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 1, 1979. His father is Native Hawaiian whilst his mother is of a Native American, German, and Irish background. During his youth, Momoa's parents split and he was raised in Iowa by his mother. After high school, Momoa had started studying a marine biology major at a college in Iowa before studying at Florida Keys for a bit. After swapping his marine biology major for a wildlife biology major at Colorado State University, Momoa moved back to Hawaii so he could reconnect with his father. Some people just get all the luck. Not only does Momoa have some good genes in him, but he's pretty damn smart as well.
