Robbie laughs about her early career now, and while she starred in some bizarre, largely awful B-movies, they've obviously proved to be immeasurably valuable in gaining early some early experience. Her first appearance came in the low-budget 2008 film, Vigilante. She plays the part of a raped and murdered young woman who's fiancee transforms into a poor attempt at Batman, seeking vengeance. The film achieved a miserable 3.5/10 star rating on IMDb, yet it still garnered some exposure for Robbie who went on to feature in a number of small Australian productions such as Review With Miles Barlow, The Elephant Princess, City Homicide and I.C.U. without requiring an agent.
