6. That Time He Kicked Emile Locque Off A Cliff - For Your Eyes Only
Another go-around for Roger Moore, who spends one of his better outings, For Your Eyes Only, being a bit more dangerous than usual, indicated in part by the fact that he does something needlessly horrible halfway through the film. Having chased assassin Emile Locque (Michael Gothard) across the Greek island of Corfu, a well-placed shot to the arm sees Locque losing control of the car he's tried to escape in, and subsequently dangling off the edge of a cliff. So what does Bond do? Well, instead of doing a decent job of being a spy by saving, holding, then questioning Locque in case he has something resembling vital information, Bond just kicks the car until it's on its way to making friends with the ground. Locque doesn't make it out of the violent wreckage alive, obviously, plus he has the indignity of Bond signing him off with, "He had no head for heights", a one-liner he quite clearly didn't bother putting much effort into before he said it.
