10. Falcon Gets His Ass Handed To Him - Ant-Man
What a way to introduce a new, hugely important Avenger to the fold. Rather than mythology building for the new group, Marvel instead chose to use Falcon for a cameo in Ant-Man that made him look like a fool.
It may have been a funny moment, and it may have cemented Ant-Man as a genuine physical threat after his training montage, but it was rather unfortunate that Falcon had to be thrown under a bus for his benefit.
We're talking about a character here who replaced Steve Rogers as Captain America in the comics. Who was deemed worthy - and "super" - enough to wield the famous shield, and who has years of specialist military training even before he gets to use the Avengers facilities. He got beaten up, without much effort, by a hero on his first real mission. Talk about setting a benchmark for the character.
