10 Trailers That Make You Nervous About 2016's Biggest Movies

7. Zootopia - Official US Trailer 2

Zootopia looks absolutely mental, and not really in a good way. For starters, it's crazy to think that Disney have opted to make something like this after the success of more intimate works such as Frozen and Wreck-It Ralph. Zootopia feels more in line with the unsuccessful and rather awful animated works they chucked out in the mid-2000s. You know, like Meet the Robinsons and, uh, Chicken Little. Next, the trailer isn't really selling the idea, which seems like a wild hodgepodge of every other animated film ever made about groups of animals going on wacky adventures (and there are lots of those). A trailer's job is to win you over, of course, so that's not good. The premise here isn't particularly inventive; animals of all breeds live together in, like, peace and harmony. The main character, Judy Hopps, a rabbit/police officer, teams up with a fox named Nick Wilde, a con-artist, to solve a case. For real. Zootopia will probably make a lot of money, but creatively... it looks a bit uninspired.
