Mr. Strickland comes from the shoot first, ask questions later school of discipline. He is bald, strict and intimidating. He has a penchant for singling out the McFly clan, constantly referring to them as slackers. Strickland even tells Marty that "no McFly has ever amounted to anything in the history of Hill Valley, which is just plain cruel to say to a seventeen-year-old, regardless of profession. Why Mr. Strickland ever decided to pursue a career in which he was constantly surrounded by high school kids is beyond me. Mr. Strickland is even more terrifying given the fact that he doesn't appear to age, looking exactly the same in 1955 as he does in 1985. Maybe it's his disdain towards his students that keeps him so young.
