A while back, an article took a look at ten MMA fighters who tried their hand at acting. You can take a look at that article here. We can't say all of the examples in that article had stellar careers, but they mostly found limited amounts of success. In fact, some - Cung Le, Gina Carano, Randy Couture, and Ronda Rousey, for example - have actually made careers for themselves on the big screen. And if you count Dave Batista, who did have a single professional MMA fight, you've got a breakout star in the Marvel Universe. It's amazing to see who else has tried their hand at acting, however, from the world of MMA - with far less successful results. It wouldn't be untrue to say that all the fighters on this list today have bombed as actors - but really, most have absolutely bombed as actors. It's still fun to take a look at who tried, however - and kudos for them for giving it a go. Being a big name fighter gives you a shot to branch out, and you never know what you're good at until you try. Fighters tend to have one thing in common: heart and determination, and that no doubt helped them in their decision to risk it all - in a very different way - on the big screen.
