5. Captain Ultra

Introduced in Fantastic Four #177, Captain Ultra was a member of the Frightful Four – a sinister company of supervillains who made several reoccurring appearances throughout the series, usually pitted against Johnny Storm, The Human Torch. Invulnerable, Captain Ultra would have been a formidable adversary, however his one weakness was considerable: pyrophobia, an incapacitating and overwhelming fear of fire.

Naturally, this rendered the character – who would faint at the sight of fire – a comic relief, complete with an exaggerated appreciation for the theatrical. That said, the character might make an excellent addition to the MCU – providing a wonderful weirdness – serving as a foil character alongside Ironman and Captain America. Alternatively, Captain Ultra might work as a dangerous idiot with a limitless potential for destruction, serving as a sinister, or unpredictable villain depending on the situation.
