10 Unintentionally Funny Horror Movie Villains
10. Paul Serone - Anaconda
Anaconda is a weird movie, and not just because it's about a giant snake. No, it's an odd flick, thanks to the strange melting pot of actors chucked in, with everyone acting like they're in a completely different film. Owen Wilson, Johnathan Hyde, Ice Cube, Eric Stoltz and J Lo? It has to be seen to be believed. Still, the crown for the most unintentionally hilarious character has to go to Jon Voight's ludicrous villain.
Voight plays a callous snake hunter who - besides the Anaconda itself - acts as the film's main antagonist. His performance is about as good as what you'd expect from a movie as ridiculous as this, as he's so melodramatically hammy in the role you'll wonder if the whole thing is a joke. He chews the scenery and pulls a perpetually weird face that makes him look half-asleep. Still, the worst is yet to come, as this entry has yet to mention his accent.
Oh lord, Jon Voight's attempts to perform a Paraguay accent are enough to make you think he owes the whole country an apology. It's laughably absurd and makes everything that comes out of his mouth lack the venom he clearly intends it to. It sure is funny though.
