10 Most Unintentionally Hilarious Movie Deaths

4. Samuel L Jackson - Deep Blue Sea

You might be thinking, "But wait, wasn't that scene supposed to be funny?". I've deliberated over it, and I'm really not so sure anymore; it's in the middle of what's supposed to be a stirring, rabble-rousing speech for the surviving comrades, but the timing with which the super-smart shark interrupts Samuel L. Jackson's character and begins to gnaw on him is either meant to be slyly funny, or is just some of the most horrifically tone-deaf direction ever released in cinemas. It's worth mentioning that the film is pure camp, and supposed to be a B-movie - somewhat justifying the terrible visual effects, which add to the hilarity - but it's a moment also clearly meant to bring us back to reality, that the danger is very real, and freaking horrific. Still, there's the lingering thought that the shark, being smart as he is, waited for the most inconvenient moment possible to start eating people, just to scare the crap out of them a little bit more.
