The original Horrible Bosses emerged as something of a surprise success, as three down-on-their-luck schmucks - played by Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day - conspired to murder their awful, terrible bosses (Colin Farrell, Jennifer Aniston and Kevin Spacey, all on top form). The film itself wasn't exactly a comedic masterpiece, but it was packed with big laughs. Enough, anyway, to warrant a fully-fledged sequel. Hooray! The plot this time around is just as insane as the first: after pooling together to start up a business, our heroes find themselves going up against a rich business investor, who sets out to destroy their company. The only logical solution to right this situation, of course, is for them to kidnap said rich business investor's son and hold him to ransom. Expect more laughs of the controversial, dark and awkward variety, with Aniston and Spacey returning.
