2. Justice League

Justice League is the most important movie yet in the DCEU, one that will signal the direction for the entire franchise going forward. Will it continue down the path trodden by the lifeless Batman V Superman and Suicide Squad, or does the record-breaking success of Wonder Woman's uplifting solo outing force Warner Bros. to reevaluate their outlook on the whole shared universe?

Even before Joss Whedon replaced Zack Snyder in the wake of a personal tragedy, Justice League was under huge scrutiny. Before Wonder Woman, no movie in the DCEU with Snyder's fingerprints on it had received anything like unanimous praise, and reshoots are still ongoing with just three months until it gets released, leading to urban legends surrounding Henry Cavill's mustache.

The lengthy trailer drew mixed reactions, with just as many people praising the focus on team-building and lighter tone as there were criticizing the artificial-looking action scenes.
