10. Evil Dead Rise is Set in a High Rise

Okay, so first things first we do know that the forthcoming Evil Dead Rise is actually happening, and that the film will reboot Spider-man director Sam Raimi's infamous video nasty trilogy after Don't Breathe director Fede Alvarez's dead serious 2013 remake and Starz' goofy, gory TV adaptation Ash Vs the Evil Dead.

Now, thanks to that show's leading man/ greatest jaw in Hollywood history Bruce Campbell, we also know the upcoming production is in the hands of The Hole in the Ground director Lee Cronin.

The Irish indie horror helmer is a solid choice for directorial duties, and recent rumours suggest that the flick will be set in a high-rise office building, an ingenious premise which would provide a bloody breath of fresh air for the Evil Dead.

A densely populated urban alternative to the traditional cabin in the woods setting of the earlier films, a title-punning high rise could provide ample opportunities for innovative new gory thrills in this latest instalment if the rumours prove true.
