10 Upcoming Movie Sequels We STILL Can't Believe Are Real

2. The Continuing Adventures of Cliff Booth

Quentin Tarantino has been largely sequel-averse throughout his filmmaking career, with even the Kill Bill duology being shot as a single movie which he was persuaded to split in two during post-production.

And of all his movies to get a follow-up, just about nobody would've pegged it to be his most recent one - Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

But back in April, it was announced that Tarantino had written The Continuing Adventures of Cliff Booth - a sequel centered around the film's breakout character, stuntman Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt).

Though Tarantino won't be directing the film, his script was acquired by Netflix, who have brought the great David Fincher aboard to helm - one of the few directors Tarantino's fans would probably be happy to see bring his words to life.

Furthermore, Leonardo DiCaprio is expected to reprise his role as Rick Dalton in cameo form, while the rest of the cast includes Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.

Shooting is expected to last through the second half of 2025, hopefully meaning it releases by the end of 2026.

The fact it exists at all, though, with one of the greatest directors not called Quentin Tarantino calling the shots no less, is absolutely wild.
