10 Video Games Movies We Want To See (And Who Should Direct)

3. Mass Effect €“ Joseph Kosinski

Video Game: In the future, we follow Commander Shepard (male or female, your choice) and his usually misfit collection of alien and human soldiers, scientists, and criminals as they race to save the galaxy from a destined attack from the Reapers. Praised for its almost movie-like storytelling and vivid characters, Mass Effect is a stylish sci-fi adventure that would look amazing on the big screen. An adaptation has been discussed for a while, and whenever we see it happen, it should look gorgeous. Director: Given the combination of sleek futuristic tech and abandoned societies in ruins throughout this galaxy, Joseph Kosinski's experience with heavy special effects could do this franchise well. There should be some faith in Kosinski giving Mass Effect the mixture of maturity and action the film would need. An up and comer in the business, JK's director credits include Tron: Legacy and Oblivion, both perfect examples of the imagery, tone, and direction that Mass Effect should carry.
