10 Villains The New Justice League Need To Fight

3. Brainiac

Again, the source of this character is on Clark Kent€™s home planet, and again the potential for this villain is almost limitless. He is a technological genius, sometimes being depicted as a sentient computer program, sometimes being depicted as an android and sometimes as an alien being. Many of us depend on technology far more than we think we do; mobile phones, emails, iPods, and internet banking have become a standard part of most people€™s lives. If an artificial intelligence or alien being could control this technology we would be torn from the things we depend upon most and a strange fear would take hold of the population. The potential threat of Braniac is clear, and he was featured in Bruce Timm€™s animated Superman TV series, as well as Smallville, so audiences would have some recognition of the character. There are doubts over whether he would have the physical presence to threaten the Justice League, so maybe he would have to team up with other more powerful figures in the DC Universe; perhaps Amazo would be suitable?
