2. Helmut Zemo & Crossbones Live To Fight Another Day
Though the bulk of Civil War will be made up of the superhero superbrawl, there are also going to be a few villains in the periphery, namely Helmut Zemo and Crossbones, who will be making Cap's life a living hell in particular. With most expecting these roles to be relatively small in Civil War, it would be a major mistake to kill one or both of them off by the end of the film, and would echo the rather underwhelming treatment of Baron von Strucker in Age of Ultron. Instead, it makes a lot of sense for the pair to survive and resurface in Infinity War. Given that the two-part saga will probably clock in at around 5 hours in length in total, that's a ton of room for the pair to have substantial subplots alongside Thanos, and plenty of time for the surviving Avengers to wreak vengeance on the pair for their inevitable atrocities in Civil War.
