3. It's A Musical - Mario

Hold onto your butts for this one.

Though the voice cast for Illumination's animated Mario movie was announced a good while ago, we haven't seen a single official glimpse of the film yet, nor does it even have a concrete title.

That said, a recent apparent plot leak claims that the movie is in fact a musical, with numerous musical sequences being used to flesh out the plot, such as Bowser (Jack Black) singing about his villainous plan and Mario (Chris Pratt) and Luigi (Charlie Day) performing a song about being plumbers.

It's certainly not what anyone expected from a Mario movie, and yet with the right execution it could totally work. As ever, time will tell.
