10. Venom In The MCU - Spider-Man: No Way Home

Not only was Spider-Man: No Way Home one of the biggest and most ambitious movies in MCU history, it was also one of the busiest. With five villains to bring in, as well as Peter, Ned, MJ, May, AND Doctor Strange, there was a lot going on. Fans were certain that there would be even more, however.

After the post-credit scene of Venom: Let There Be Carnage teased Eddie Brock’s multiversal jump, Tom Hardy’s picture with a No Way Home cap on, and the fact that the movie was one villain short of a potential Sinister Six, many fans thought Venom would show up at some point. He sort of did, in the end, but not how anyone expected.

Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock was the subject of the post-credit scene in which he sat in a bar on Earth-616 drinking and getting the lo-down on Thanos. While other villains were throwing hands with the Spider-Men, Eddie was getting drunk. He didn’t even have time to leave the bar before getting sent back home.

There was at least a reason to the scene, provided Marvel and Sony follow up on it, with a little bit of symbiote being left behind, but fans were just expecting so much more from Venom in the movie.
