10 Worst Live-Action Superhero Fights In Cinema History

10. Wolverine Vs. "Deadpool" - X-Men Origins: Wolverine

The X-Men franchise had been doing very well until the release of 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand (more on that later). After the massive disappointment that was X3, 20th Century Fox hoped to win fans back by giving them what they thought they wanted: a deeper delve into Wolverine's back story.

The result was 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and, to the film's credit, it started off reasonably well.

Ryan Reynolds seemed perfectly cast as Wade Wilson (also known as Deadpool, though not the one we know and love), all set for some wise-cracking that would hopefully be the comic relief to offset Wolverine's dour personality.

Then, just a short way into the film, we're told that Wilson has died off-screen. That's okay, though, because the Merc with a Mouth resurfaces, having been given extra powers that he'd never previously possessed and with his trademark mouth sewn shut.

The resulting fight between Deadpool and Wolverine is an odd one. It's not bad in the traditional sense, but fans were simply so outraged by the blatant disregard for the character that it was impossible to enjoy.
