OK, so, clearly Boss Nass isn't going to be the only Gungan on this list - that shouldn't be much of a spoiler. However, with the exception of one of his bumbling, banished brethren, Nass is just one big hot mess that shows the Gungan name at its worse. Let's face it, on a whole, the Gungans weren't really thought out very well. It's not like you can really pin it on one thing - there's just so much going on there that it's like a perfect storm of blah. Boss Nass is grossly fat. That in and of itself is not a major issue. But why is he fat? None of the other Gungans are fat. It's like he ate a bunch of his constituents, and so, naturally, the rest of them made him their leader. When Gungans talk, it's hard to follow to begin with, but when Nass follows up one of his particularly eloquent soliloquies, for some reason he feels it necessary to shake his head like a dog with a dead rabbit in his mouth. His sanctimonious reaction to Amidala's plea for help against The Trade Federation is both maddening and annoying. Couple that with his ignorance regarding the entire invasion and his belief that the Gungans will be unaffected makes one want to reach through the screen and slap his jowls silly.
