10. The Other

The Other may not be the first character to jump to mind when thinking about faces from the past who could've turned up in these movies, but he's one of the most logical inclusions and surprising exclusions nonetheless. After debuting in The Avengers, he made a further appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy that ended with Ronan killing him.

In the two films, we never really got to know him, but as the personal servant of Thanos, he was an important figure, ensuring that Loki stayed on track for fear of consequence. With Endgame taking us back to 2014 and the events of Guardians of the Galaxy, right before Ronan would've killed him, it would've been great to see him by Thanos' side at some point.

Whether waiting at Thanos' beck and call during the investigation into what was going on with Nebula's network or a moment where we see him on the Sanctuary II when Captain Marvel destroyed it, having The Other appear - even briefly - would've served as another fun connection to those two films without feeling extraneous simply because it lines up with exactly what we do know about the character and his role in Thanos' life.
