11 Confusing Moments That Prove All Movies Exist In An Alternate Reality
9. Woody Harrelson Wouldn't Exist (Twice) - Zombieland
Before he was enjoying a career resurgence alongside Matthew McConaughey by pretending he permanently had tooth ache in True Detective, Woody Harrelson spent a long time flirting with the idea of making good movies, while also making a frankly embarrassing number of utterly forgettable ones, like Transsiberian and Battle In Seattle. In 2009, the notorious bongo enthusiast appeared as tragic Tallahassee in the incredibly meta- Zombieland, opposite Jesse Eisenberg and Emma Stone, which featured a particularly memorable cameo from Bill Murray as himself, daubed in zombie make-up and hidden in plain sight to stop brain-eater attacks.
The only issue with this very funny cameo - which still ranks as one of the finest pay offs in any cameo - is that it effectively wipes out comedy classic Kingpin, which Murray starred in alongside Harrelson. It's not the only paradox either as the movie features a poster for 2012, the film Harrelson made immediately after Zombieland, suggesting that he's either extremely forgetful, or in that reality the leads went to somebody else.
