3. God Particle Directly Sets Up Cloverfield

It's already known that upcoming sci-fi flick God Particle is set within the Cloverfield universe and will contain some sort of link to Cloverfield and 10 Cloverfield Lane, but exactly what the extent of this will be remains a mystery.

One tantalising theory suggests that the movie will end with a satellite being knocked out of Earth's orbit, causing it to crash down into the ocean, at which point it awakens a sleeping Clover.

It was heavily implied in the final shot of the original movie that this is how the monster's rampage began, so who could blame J.J. Abrams and co. if they decided to neatly link this space-faring adventure directly back to the found footage flick that started it all...or so we thought?
