Jamie Foxx is a fantastic actor. Jamie Foxx is an Academy Award winner. Jamie Foxx is dope.

Jamie Foxx ALSO played one of the worst Spider-Man movie villains. He might even be THE worst, considering how disappointing it was that they wasted Jamie GOD DAMN Foxx.

One week ago, if you'd asked any fan, "Do you think they'll bring back actors and characters from old Spider-Man movies?" they probably would've said no, save for J. Jonah Jameson. They CERTAINLY wouldn't have said that they'd bring back Jamie Foxx's Electro - one of the worst parts of arguably the worst Spider-Man movie.

Yet here we are.

With news of Electro coming back, so many cans of worms have been opened. Why? How? To what end?

Maybe - just maybe - that end is the Sinister Six. Electro has been a member of nearly thirty different incarnations of the group, and was present in the very first lineup. Why else would they risk confusing audiences to bring him back? He's probably not playing a small role, either. Foxx has been the first new cast member announced. That's probably significant, and it probably means they've got plans for him.
