4. Fiona Volpe's Death Is (Unintentionally) Hilarious
SPECTRE agent Fiona Volpe (Luciana Paluzzi) is introduced as an initially compelling Bond girl, refusing to be "turned" after sex with 007, though she meets a rather amusing, undignified end when Bond uses her as a bullet-shield.
As the pair are dancing, Bond notices an assassin is about to open fire on him, so at the last possible moment, he spins Fiona into the path of the bullet, quickly killing her.
It's extra hilarious as nobody else on the dance floor can apparently hear the gunshot over the sound of the bongo drums, and Bond then unceremoniously dumps her corpse in a chair before sardonically telling some onlookers, "She's just dead."
Volpe was no saint, but still, this was an unintentionally comical way to do away with a potentially tantalising Bond girl.
