Based on Alvin Schwartz's iconic children's horror book series, Scary Stories promises to be a treat for horror fans. Some of Stephen Gammell's most nightmarish illustrations have been brought to life effortlessly, bringing some of the grimmest ghouls back into 2019 to terrorise a new generation of kids and adults alike.

Tasking a group of teenagers with solving the mystery of 'sudden and macabre deaths' in their small town of Mill Valley, California back in 1968 is a clever way of reviving the mythos as well as enabling a litany of the trilogy's most creepy creations can coexist easily, ensuring the horror anthology will fit together thematically.
