Like Doctor Strange, Black Panther is not expected to appear in Age of Ultron, with Chadwick Boseman's name notably absent from any cast lists or movie posters. That being said, a lot of the movie is set to take place in Wakanda - the fictional country of both the hero's origin and rule - so it does seem a little bizarre that he wouldn't at least acknowledge that that was the case. With that in mind, surely he will at least appear in either the mid-credits or post-credits scene - perhaps overseeing any damage or clean-up operation after any battles that might have taken place in his homeland. His scheduled first appearance is set to be in Captain America: Civil War, but it seems a little bit odd to throw him into the mix during such a big event without introducing him to audiences briefly first (think Hawkeye's cameo in Thor coming prior to his full debut in the Avengers movie) and Avengers: Age of Ultron seems like a great time to do that, which would certainly surprise a few people (but, then again, why else would his casting have been publicly announced as far back as October 2014?).
