These 12 movies released in 2017 all made intriguing inferences about the potentially grim fates that await their protagonists and supporting characters alike. From the direct implication of a cliffhanger ending to the more subtle consequences of a character's arc throughout a film, it's basically all spelled out for viewers.
Whatever the end result, there's no way these characters survived long past the movie itself, and for the most part their demises would've been pretty damn unpleasant.
