Swept up in the mass auditioning process for Harry Potter And The Philosophers Stone, he ended up getting the part of Crabbe, one of Malfoys goons (he does look the part). A constant throughout the series, Crabbe was notable in his absence from the final two films, with best chum Goyle taking his role in events. The reason why is not a positive one. Clearly they really do put the bad uns in Slytherin; as the series reached its height Waylett found himself arrested for a variety of crimes. First charged for growing cannabis (he got community service), he ended up in jail in the aftermath of the London riots; he was seen with a molotov cocktail breaking into a pharmacy (you couldnt make that up). With only Harry Potter on his resume and lacking any real star status (or possibly desire), he's not returned to acting since being released.
