The Movie: A supremely lame, nauseatingly overlong romantic "comedy" that's weirdly mean-spirited and renders the likes of Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann temporarily unlikeable. The Performance: The single actor to escape with their dignity in tact is Don Johnson, who plays Carly's (Diaz) father Frank, and spends his brief screen time throughout the movie sipping on drinks, hitting on women half his age and occasionally dispensing (dubious) advice to his daughter. He doesn't exactly get to do much throughout, but his relaxed chemistry with anyone he's acting opposite immediately puts him leagues ahead of anyone else in this movie. Plus, he gets to punch Jamie Lannister at the end, and then marries Kate Upton, so what's not to like?
