12 Biggest Comic Book Movie Reveals From CinemaCon 2017
The Homecoming might not last...
Though E3 and ComicCon tend to be the big events on the calendar for comic book movie fans with exclusive screenings, first-look trailers and all manner of attendee-only goodies, the annual CinemaCon is increasingly important these days.
Since 2011, the event has showcased the best of the summer blockbuster season (and the tentpoles beyond it), offering secret screenings and debuting footage, and inevitably, comic book movies played a major part of proceedings.
Sony and Marvel were there, Warner Bros were too and even Kingsman got a look in (though the absence of Deadpool was a devastating shame), offering new looks, fresh information and footage for the lucky few in attendance. And in amongst the hype-building there were some very interesting revelations.
Incidentally, as a linked bit of news, apparently, if you want to watch a Black Widow movie this year, go and see Red Sparrow. It sounds very good, and more than a little familiar...
