3. Madame Hooch’s Lessons (And Quidditch Refereeing)

In the first Harry Potter movie, Zoe Wanamaker played Rolanda Hooch, the Flying instructor and Quidditch coach who also referees the film's Quidditch match, but thanks to the actor only signing a single film contract, the character simply disappeared.

That also meant that Flying lessons were removed from the curriculum entirely and nobody made any reference to them ever again.

And on top of that, none of the other Quidditch games (which were dropped entirely from later films to concentrate on the main story lines) even have a referee, which is just plain dangerous, to be honest.
