It's difficult to think of an Aquaman film nowadays without Entourage immediately springing to mind. Unfortunately for the King of Atlantis, attempts to bring him to the big screen in real-world Hollywood have been decidedly less successful than its fictional counterpart. Maybe someone should give James Cameron a call? Though he may be a little too busy with the next chapters of his "Dances with Space-Smurfs" saga. Much like the ecological symbiosis of the comic books, Aquaman is here dependent on his supra-terranean allies to determine the fate of his Atlantean kingdom. This is both a blessing and a curse, and sets up a similar situation to Dredd, whereby related properties are tied to the fate of another. Conversely like with Wonder Woman and Green Arrow, if Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and JLA prove to be hits, then assuming he will be a part of the JLA film, there is every chance an Aquaman solo film will eventually be produced.
