Why It Actually Sucked: Netflix's Originals line-up has been depressingly inconsistent this year so far, and so it's genuinely surprising that critics sprung for this utterly boilerplate and forgettable genre effort.
Yes, the three leads are likeable enough, but the script is extraordinarily lazy, and the set-up just can't sustain anything more than a passing level of interest.
If you've exhausted Netflix's streaming library and come across Ibiza, it's best viewed as background noise when you're doing something else.
