12. Alexander Knox - Batman

Portrayed by Robert Wuhl, hapless journalist Alexander Knox was a big source of comic relief in Tim Burtons first Batman movie. He totally believes in the caped crusader, which actually makes him more intelligent than most people give him credit for. He comes across as a bumbling fool, though.

In particular, he appears pretty dumb when asking questions like Is there a six-foot bat in Gotham City? If so, is he on the police payroll? If so, what's he pulling down - after taxes?"

Stupidest moment: Walks into Bruce Waynes arsenal of ancient weaponry and armour doesnt clock that hes Batman. He doesnt even work it out when Bruce tells him he likes his work - loads of which is about Batman - a lot.
