12 Great Horror Movie Shorts You Need To See

2. La Noria

The film does lose some of its scariness because it’s almost too dedicated to showing off its gorgeous animation rather than obscuring its horrors in a bit of darkness like Jennifer Kent did in Monster. However by its end it uses the animation to glorious and emotionally resonant effect. It portrays a fantastical vision of grief and healing in the midst of a horror story, nailing its melancholic tone.
