9. Anaconda (1997)

In the Amazon on a documentary shoot, Jennifer Lopez and her crew instead find Jon Voight, who, despite his sneer and accent of dubious provenance, is able to convince them to hunt for the eponymous 40 foot reptile. Don€™t be fooled by the $40 million budget and the starry cast, because Anaconda is a SyFy movie to the core, full of hilarious histrionics and an even funnier monster, who alternates between a hysterically unconvincing rubber prop and an equally lousy digital creation. In a movie with no shortage of show-stopping moments, the pick of the bunch has to be the scene where the anaconda swallows Voight whole, at which point director Luis Llosa treats us to something we never saw in any black and white creature feature €“ a point-of-view shot from inside the Anaconda€™s throat. Regurgitated at Lopez€™s feet, Voight still manages to tip her a wink before keeling over.
