Box Office: Twilight ($392.6 million), New Moon ($709.8 million), Eclipse ($698.5 million), Breaking Dawn - Part 1 ($712.1 million). Never under-estimate the enormous box office power of hormonal teenage girls, for the Twilight franchise grossed a mind-boggling total of $3.34 billion. However, Deadpool smoked the first four movies in the series, near-doubling the original Twilight and flying just north of the three other films. Somewhat unsurprisingly, though, the finale scored the biggest haul of the franchise, with Breaking Dawn - Part 2 reaping an insane $829.7 million, a figure Pool is tremendously unlikely to rise above. Still, that the movie annihilated 80% of a massively cynical and devastatingly popular series is an achievement that can never be forgotten or undone.
