Spider-Man 3 isn't improving with age and is still an epitomising example of a disappointing film.

Most of the acting in Spider-Man 3, even from talented actors like Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco and Topher Grace, is terrible and it was evidently butchered by studio interference. Spider-Man 3 is positively drowning in unnecessary subplots and features not one, not two, but three underdeveloped villains. This movie just tried to do too many things at once and, aside from some great set-pieces, it never comes together at all.

Perhaps the most awful thing about Spider-Man 3 is that when Peter Parker is infected with the symbiote it doesn't truly bring out his dark side as the marketing promised. All he does is snap at people, become more arrogant and... dance through the street like an emo. Yep, that is still excruciating to watch all these years later. Who on earth thought that was actually a good idea?

In general, Spider-Man 3 is a mess and it's arguably worse than the widely-maligned The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
