But thanks to the sheer scale of one of the climactic battles in the trilogy ender, Nolan clearly had to ask Extras to fill in for stuntmen, and some of them seem to have taken measures to make sure they didn't actually get harmed at all.

Like the guy who made sure he didn't hurt any of his fellow background artists by simply punching nobody at all...
