Spidey is going to be doing whatever a spider can in IMAX and 3D when he comes back to cinemas in 2017. We're still all waiting to see what Tom Holland's new Spider-Man is going to look like and how much of a part he's actually going to be playing in Captain America: Civil War, but we do now know that Marvel and Sony will be bringing his stand-alone to IMAX.
Theres so much about Spider-Man including the web-slinging action that lends itself perfectly to the IMAX screen. We are confident that audiences everywhere around the world will want to see it in IMAX.
So we can probably expect lots of swinging at the camera then. And maybe some of this... Let's just hope they don't push the gimmick too hard. Source.
