Even though disaster flick San Andreas scored an impressive $473.8 million worldwide last summer, few probably expected it to kickstart a franchise...which is exactly what's about to happen. The sequel, which will presumably end up with a more imaginative and sensible title than San Andreas 2 (San Andreas Too?), will reportedly focus on the Pacific Ocean's Ring of Fire, which will allow the movie to feature not only earthquakes but also volcanic eruptions, ensuring it'll be effortlessly bigger than what came before. Also, Carla Gugino, Alexandra Daddario, and Paul Giamatti are expected to return alongside Dwayne Johnson. It could easily be terrible, but we'll be there day one for another dose of visually stunning B-movie goodness.
