9. It's Got The Most Interesting Villain

Though the first two Spider-Man movies had terrifically entertaining villains in Green Goblin and Doc Ock, there's a case to be made that Michael Keaton's Vulture is in fact the most intriguing yet.

While he feels a little more low-key than either of those two, his motives are far away from the typical "well-meaning scientist gets betrayed by his own ambitions" shtick that's such a cliche at this point, or the blatant emotional manipulation of, say, Sandman's portrayal in Spider-Man 3.

Without spoiling things, Vulture's motivations tend more towards economic anxiety, certainly a current topic in 2017, and one that differentiates him from the more lazily sympathetic nature of most of the Spidey movie villains to date.

Plus, the fact that he's the Vulture and scavenges alien technology from Avengers battles, you know, like a vulture, is just plain awesome. It goes without saying that Keaton's really great in it, too.
