10. "Your Soul!" - Annabelle: Creation
After poor young Janice (Talitha Bateman) inadvertently releases the demonic entity sealed within the Mullins' home, the demon begins terrorising Janice and the five other girls staying there.
It's especially fond of Janice, though, and one night she enters the room of the Mullins' deceased daughter Annabelle (Samara Lee), the same room where the demon was initially sealed and accidentally released by Janice, to find a young girl resembling Annabelle standing by the window.
Annabelle asks Janice, "Will you help me?", to which Janice asks, "What do you need?", and after a suspenseful pause, Annabelle turns around, her face now resembling a demon, as she shouts in a deep, booming voice, "Your soul!"
Annabelle: Creation is packed with predictable jump scares, but you know what? This one actually worked. It's hilarious to watch once you know it's coming, but in the moment, it's an absolutely pant-filling scare.
